I am a blogger. I started blogging when my family bought a desktop computer when I was in high school. I was only using a dial-up connection then. Most of the time, I spent browsing the internet during wee hours of the morning since the prepaid ISP card offered free internet from 12mn to 6am. I was inspired by Filipino bloggers who designed their own blogsites. I practiced web design using Microsoft FrontPage and Paint applications in creating headers and background images for my site. I jumped from one blogging platform to another and failed to download an archive of my blogs. Now I found WordPress, a very good alternative to Squarespace (which I cannot afford).
I am a geek at heart. I want to be updated with the latest in technology particularly smartphones and tablets. I used to be an active fan of Geeky Nights, but my current work schedule doesn’t permit me to watching them live.
I consider myself as a hobbyist photographer. Photography connects people from all walks of life from different parts of the world. I get to see the wonders of the world just by browsing Instagram, EyeEm and Flickr. And I get a chance to talk to photographers I don’t personally know since we speak a common language, and that it photography. I previously owned a Fujifilm X100S which I loved so dearly. But I had to sell it to fund the X100T, but the money went to my credit card purchases. Now, I have my Sony A6000 and Fujifilm X-E2 with their kit lenses. I don’t use them regularly as I have one of the best camera smartphones in the world, the iPhone.
